I got to the beach a little later than anticipated, so this was brightened up quite a bit in my LR 4.4 trial. I'm still trying to decide if I want to purchase LR5, but that's beside the point. The waves were pretty awesome, but rather than capture them, I tried to take advantage of them in a long exposure while playing with my new B+W ND3.0, but it was simply too dark. While I didn't technically amp the exposure up enough to clip highlights, I feel like the sky really lost its drama when I tried to draw out the details in the rocks and water. I guess that's encouragement to get out earlier! All in all, an acceptable shot taken from the always beautiful Holland State Park.
