View from Delphi towards Itea. From the modern day settlement of Delphi you get a grand view over the olive groves and of Itea and Kirra on the coast. It is well worth following the path down from Delphi to Kirra - it's a good half day walk - you can then refresh yourself in Kirra and then return the same way. There are two walks down from Delphi going through the olive groves at the bottom finishing on the coast at Kirra / Itea 1. a direct Delphi - Kirra walk of 10km going through Chrisso. This is the path I took down, and returned the same day - quite strenuous, but doable - about 2.5 hours down and 3.5 hours back. You can get a bus from Delphi to Itea and start the walk at the far end of the coast at Kirra - which might be more practical. It is well sign posted, particularly from Delphi. Starting from Kirra harbour you need to go past the old dilapidated tower and then turn inland just after the open square on the coast. 2. a longer 16km walk via the E4 path where you spend longer on the valley floor before ascending via tracks.
